27 Dresses (Fletcher, 2008)

Another predictable romantic comedy, but this time the wardrobe/costume designer had some fun!

Katherine Heigl plays a dedicated bridesmaid/maid of honour who has participated in weddings 27 times, wearing a variety of dresses (hence the title) and is awaiting the day when she will be the bride...

She meets Jim Marsden, who is not at all the kind of guy she would like (of course) but ends up liking (grin) and we have a fairytale ending... but the stuff that gets us to the end is fun, and I give you no points for guessing!

An easy watch with some nice comic/surreal moments...

The formula script was very evident in this one.

But Katherine Heigl was cute (very different from her image in Greys' anatomy) and her pairing with James Marsden was kinda fun to watch.
