Not too bad a poster, but nothing grat either. The "M" of the watermarked "IndiaFM" looks like a tattoo on SRK's neck & cheek. Some people really liked the first one (below).

Don

We have seen Shahrukh Khan in his regular romantic avatar repeatedly and have loved him in all those mushy movies. Now it's time to get a new slice of Shahrukh. Move over all the James Bonds and Indiana Jones of the world. Our desi Don is all set to take you on a thrilling ride this Diwali. Check out this exclusive 20-second teaser of the film premiering exclusively on IndiaFM.

As the frame opens to a hovering chopper, the slick and suave underworld king Shahrukh Khan makes an entry as the 'Don'. The Don exudes loads of attitude as he dons his glares and flashes his guns and gizmos. Whether flipping his cigarette buds or spinning his pistols, he does everything with style and that even includes bashing his enemies. There is an admiringly executed Arial stunt sequence where he gravitates down from a plane. The entire teaser focuses only on the lead protagonist of the film - Shahrukh Khan who plays the Don. The only one line that SRK mouths in the entire trailer is 'I am the king'. Seems like this Don will rule!

'Don' happens to be the first official remake in Bollywood and is the new adaptation of the 1978 Amitabh Bachchan starrer of the same name. However 'Don' isn't just a rehash of the original film. The setting and the characterizations is same but there are a lot more additions in terms of the characters, thrills and twists.

The biggest twist in the plot is the climax of the film that will have you completely surprised even if you have seen the original film. Stay tuned till we serve you more dope.

Heard a lot about this dumb arse flick. I can't stand Shahrukh Khan. He looks like he's swallowed something...if you know what I mean.

SRK has a deliberate knack of trying to stone-print his name in Bollywoods history. He has already taken on the two most famous characters ever played by the man regarded as the best ever in Hindi Drama : Dilip Kumar.

SRK's was obsessed with playing an emperor to put his name *up there* with Dileep saheb's "Salim" in Mughal-e-Azam. That's what drove him to make Asoka. Good film, pathetic performance.

Next, he wanted to take on arguably the best performance of Dileep saheb in his entore career : Devdad. Pathetic movie, pathetic performance - and I say this in comparison to the original.

Now he wants to take on AB Sr through his role in Don. Everybody knows of the jealous spite that SRK has against Big B (coz the senior always overshadows him on the screen). Expect another pathetic performance praised by taran adarsh.

Don't be surprised if SRK does a Mera Naam Joker to take on Raj Kapoor late in his career. His son (Aryan) will be old enough to do the Rishi Kapoor role by then too.

I like farhan akhtar as a director, but i dont know what SRK will bring to the role of DON. Abhishek wouldnt have been a good choice either, being rather obvious. who do you think should be playing the role? not hrithik... maybe akshay kumar?

I don't think there was anything celebratory about Big B's portrayal of Don, or the movie itself. Any *star* should be able to play it now too. I just dislike SRK, that's all.

yep. it sure has got some really catchy numbers.
they have reused the songs from the previous movie, and packaged it very well.
my favorites being Khaike paan banaras waala and Yeh mera dil and the Midival Punditz take on Main hoon Don is very catchy and beaty.
