you could easily hook up the jam for the net bit.
Do you have data services enabled on the jam?
Try to connect it to your pc via bluetooth and setup a dial up account using the jam as a modem and dial out *09# i think .
that should put u on the default net connection on your jam.

Ill confirm if the numbers correct. had it somewhere here....umm(searchin)

If one should use the internet via the Jam on a Wasel card, would there be charges for usage of *talktime*? (in that case, it would be very expensive)

What about download speed? Charges per kb?

Also, if Sammy can confirm the settings and numbers, that would be great.

Additionally, I found the following option from Etisalat for wireless surfing without an actual hardwired internet connection:

3.5G Data Package
(Devices cost from AED400 to AED 780, which is a bit ridiculous; Mobile Data Package Subscription is also required)

The 3.5 G packages are still pretty expensive, stay away from those.
